lightheart design is run by Exeter-based Jon Primrose, who started out as a theatre lighting designer before discovering the wonders of the web in 1996.

lightheart design has been in operation since 1997, initially with sights set on sites for Devon. In 1999, a fluke encounter with comedian Dave Gorman led to the lightheart name being bandied around further afield, and now comedy websites are a lightheart speciality.

Recent moves into the world of writing on technical theatre subjects has meant that Jon's unable to take on any more web design work for the foreseeable future.
