It's sometimes useful to see if someone is on your wavelength before getting into the messy business of working with them. However, if the links below are not to your taste, it doesn't necessarily mean we'll never get on. Opposites attract too.

MOVIES
Been particularly interested in special effects technology for years. Since seeing King Kong (1931, not on the original release) and the work of Ray Harryhausen, I've been researching the techniques and methods used. I just need to get some time to put some of it into action...

Current fave film is Harry Potter Azkaban thing. Other recent faves include Donnie Darko (stunning!), Pirates of the Carribean, Lord of the Rings saga. Given up reading the books. All-time fave film? Tricky. Cinema Paradiso features quite heavily, as does Spinal Tap, The Princess Bride, South Park the Movie and Airplane. Let's say Citizen Kane, so I don't appear too different from the masses.
Heavily into DVD buying, as a healthier alternative to buying chocolate.

COMEDY
Fave comedians include the people I've had the pleasure of working with (on website designs):
Addy Borgh, Jimmy Carr, Cyderdelic, Dave Gorman, Daniel Kitson, Stewart Lee, Michael Legge, Jim Tavare and others such as Bill Bailey, Leigh (Bo Selecta) Francis, Jason Freeman, the League against Tedium, the League of Gentlemen, Eddie Izzard, Morecambe and Wise, Monty Python.
MUSIC
Many and varied musical tastes, from Abba to ZZ Top. Currently on the iPod are The Darkness, Blur, The Beach Boys, The Divine Comedy, Jerry Springer The Opera live recording, Meatloaf and Eminem (depending on mood). If you've not yet discovered it, download iTunes. Immediately. It's revolutionised the way I listen to music.
